Community Event

04/24/2018 – Cork & Fork with the Dogwood Festival

The Fayetteville Dogwood Festival was proud to unveil a new event to kick off the annual spring festival.
This premier food and wine event featured an evening of chef-inspired gourmet creations paired with the perfect complementary elegant wines
while serving as a fundraiser for two local nonprofit organizations – KidsPeace Foster Care & The Fayetteville Dogwood Festival.
This event helped us bring awareness to the needs of the children in our community and raised money for the Fayetteville KidsPeace Children’s Fund.

A “KIDSPEACE” STORY

KidsPeace Fayetteville office has helped over 500 children since the office opened in 2004.
The Children’s Fund helped pay for college applications for some of their kids in 2017. These are young people who when placed had no dreams or means of ever attending college. The KEYS Program (KidsPeace Empowering Youth to Succeed)was developed to help our youth from age 14-21 develop skills that will transition them into adulthood. This program has only been made possible through community support and the Funds raised through the Auction.
